Christmas Punch with Ginger Ale
This is a non alcoholic party punch, which is made with Ginger Ale. To make a sparkling punch, you don't need to add Prosecco or Champagne. The sparkle in this punch comes from the your favorite Ginger Ale. Popular for family gatherings, work parties, and of course Christmas and your favorite holiday.
What to put in Cranberry Punch
As I said, this is an easy Christmas Punch with Cranberries and Ginger Ale. That's it. There are a few different variations of non-alcoholic punch, but I love this recipe. It's not too sweet, too tangy and overpowered by fruit flavours. The right amount of sparkling from the Ginger Ale makes it the perfect Christmas party drink.

Fruit Juices for Party Punch
There are many variations of juices that you can add to fruit punches. Mixing in citrus fruit juice add flavors, however they will make your punch cloudy. This Cranberry Punch is most festive when other citrus juices are not mixed in and it's served clear and sparkly.
For the perfect amount of citrus essence, slice an orange and add a few slices into the punch bowl. Don't take away from the hero of this recipe, the cranberry! However, if you want to add fruit juices (instead of slices), here are some popular suggestions.
- Orange Juice
- Pineapple Juice
- Grapefruit Juice
- Raspberry Juice
- Pomegranate Juice
- Apple Juice
Christmas Punch for a Crowd
This is a great recipe for a crowd of people for a dinner party, baby shower, or even an office party. It makes 4 litres of drink, which serves about 10 people. Of course, that depends on how much they drink! A 1:1 ratio of cranberry and ginger ale makes it easy to add more or less to your punch bowl.
Alcoholic Cranberry Punch
Of course, not everyone wants a alcohol free punch, and some people make 2 versions of this recipe. One without alcohol, and another without. Here are some popular alcoholic spirits added to fruit punches.
- Vodka
- Rum
- Long Island Ice Tea Spirits
- Triple Sec
- Tequila
Cranberry Punch Garnish
Frozen Cranberries are the perfect garnish for your Christmas punch because they really elevate your punch for any occasion. Most supermarkets sell frozen cranberries year round.
Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary. Don't eat of mix the rosemary into punch bowl, it's just a decoration! It's easy having an Australian Christmas in the summer, fresh rosemary is always growing. If buying rosemary, it will make the recipe cost more, however, it makes the Christmas punch visually appealing, and therefore tastier!
