This is an easy, Non-Alcoholic Christmas Punch that's not too sweet, too tangy and overpowered by fruity flavors. To make a Sparkling Punch, you don't need to add Prosecco or Champagne. The sparkle comes from the your favorite Ginger Ale. The right amount of sparkling from the Ginger Ale makes it the perfect Christmas party drink.

How to Make Non Alcoholic Punch

    1. Chill - place Juice and Soda in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to keep cold.
    2. Slice Oranges - slice into round slices.
    3. Mix - pour Cranberry Juice, add Orange Slices, Frozen Cranberries and Ice.
    4. Add Sparkle - right before serving, pour Ginger Ale to make it bubbly
    5. Garnish - add a single fresh Rosemary Sprig on the glass rim.

    Christmas Punch Variations

    • Cranberry Citrus Punch - add Orange Juice or Grapefruit Juice with Lemon and Lime Slices
    • Tropical Cranberry Punch - mix in Pineapple Juice, Mango or Guava Juice
    • Berry Cranberry Punch - Raspberry Juice, Black Currant Juice or Berry Juice Blend
    • Spiced Apple Punch - mix in Apple Cider for a warming spice twist
    • Pomegranate Punch - adds depth and another level of sweet and tartness

    Recipe Tips and FAQs

    • Keep It Cold - always chill the Juices and Ginger Ale for best results
    • Taste Test - adjust sweetness by adding Sugar Syrup or Honey
    • Change the Soda - try 7-Up, Fanta, Squirt, flavored Canada Dry or Fresca
    • Keep Extra Chilled - keep additional bottles of juice and soda in the fridge, ready to top up the Punch Bowl as needed
    • Clear Punch - mixing Citrus Juice adds flavor but will make a cloudy punch. To keep it festive and clear, skip the citrus juices
    • Orange Slices - you only need a few slices of Orange for the perfect amount of citrus essence. Don't overpower the hero of this recipe, the Cranberries.

How Can I Make This Punch Less Sweet?

Use unsweetened juice and mix Sparkling Water instead of Ginger Ale. Add a splash of Lemon Juice to balance sweetness.

    Christmas Punch with Alcohol

Not everyone wants an alcohol-free punch, so I recommend to make 2 versions of punch. One with alcohol, and another without. Here are some popular alcoholic spirits added to fruit punches.

    • Prosecco or Sparkling Wine
    • Vodka - or homemade infused Vodka
    • Rum
    • Long Island Ice Tea Spirits
    • Triple Sec
    • Tequila

    Cranberry Punch Garnish Tips

Frozen Cranberries are the perfect garnish for your Christmas punch because they really elevate your punch flavour for any occasion. Most supermarkets sell Frozen Cranberries year round.

    • Fresh Rosemary Sprig - adds a holiday festive look to your glass (not the punch bowl)
    • Fresh Mint - adds gentle flavor and tastes great
    • Pink Grapefruit - great citrus flavor, add the punch or slice in a wedge on the glass
    • Star Fruit - sliced star shaped fruit for the rim of your glass
