    Fermented & Pickled

    Here are my fermented, cured and pickled recipes. Fermentation is another form of preserving food, like pickling, just done a little differently. Curing in salt is another way to preserve food.

    Pickling recipes usually require lots of white vinegar in the recipe, providing nice tangy taste. I love dill pickles, quick and easy pickled vegetables like cabbage or tomatoes. Yes, Russians love pickling whole tomatoes.

    Fermentation has healthy probiotics, like my most popular Fermented Kimchi recipe or Beet Kvass.

    Finally I make a Beet Gravlax Salmon, cured an amazing pink color. You're going to love exploring some new recipes!

    • I think this is one of the coolest Pickled Garlic recipes on the internet! Bright, colorful and tasty. In Russian, we call it Marinated Garlic (Маринованный чеснок). The bright pink, almost fuchsia color of the garlic head from the pickled beets, will be the talk of the dinner table!
