Bread Bowl Spinach Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 package of dry vegetable soup mix (40g/1.4oz)
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 10 oz (250g) package of frozen spinach thawed and squeezed dry
  • 3 green onions chopped
  • 1 cup of grated cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1 can water chestnuts drained and chopped
  • 1 large round unsliced Cobb Loaf

Instructions

  • Defrost frozen spinach, squeeze out any excess water.
  • in a large bowl, mix spinach, sour cream, mayo, green onions, grated cheese, water chestnuts and dried Vegetable Soup blend. Stir until combined.
  • Cover with cling wrap and place in fridge for minimum 2 hours to allow flavors to meld.
  • Using a knife, hollow out the insides creating a bowl, leaving about 1" border. Save the bread you removed to enjoy with your dip.
  • Place the dip inside your hollowed bread bowl and serve with bread cubes, sliced vegetables, or crackers.
