Ingredients

Lemon Meringue Pie

  • White Bread sliced
  • Lemon Curd
  • White Marshmallos
  • Non-Stick Cooking Spray

Chocolate Caramel Pie

  • White Bread sliced
  • Caramel Spread
  • Lindt Milk Chocolate Balls
  • Non-Stick Cooking Spray

Instructions

  • Preheat- warm the Pie Iron over the hot coals for a few minutes until heated (not so hot that it burns).
  • Spray Pie Iron - generous spray Non-Stick Cooking Spray inside both sides of the Pie Iron.
  • Add Fillings - place a piece of bread on the Pie Iron. Layer your favorite fillings on a piece of bread (careful not to overfill) and top with another slice of bread creating a sandwich.
  • Close Pie Iron - carefully close and clip firmly in place so it doesn't open during cooking.
  • Cook - place over hot coals or fire and cook until golden brown. Depending on the heat and other variables, it can take 3-5 minutes per side.
  • Check - to make sure it's cooked, carefully open and check that it's golden brown and insides are hot, melted and gooey.
  • Serve - cut off any overhanging toast edges. Carefully remove and allow to cool as insides will be very hot. Enjoy and repeat.
