1lb/500g green beans
2tablespoonsbutter
2clovesgarlic
salt and pepper
juice of half a lemon
Instructions
Trim the ends off the beans.
Bring pot to a boil. Insert the steamer basket with the green beans and cover with lid. Steam for 3-4 minutes until tender but al dente.
Melt butter and minced garlic in a frying pan on medium high heat.
Remove beans from the steamer and add to frying pan.
Toss the green beans in the garlic butter, sauté for about 2-3 minutes
Season with salt and pepper, squeeze the juice of half a lemon for a fresh zing.
