Cheesy Garlic Pull Apart Bread is super easy to make. Whether you're serving it as a side dish, an appetizer or enjoying it as a snack, this recipe is sure to have everyone fighting for the last piece of cheesy garlic bread.
Prepare Garlic Butter by mixing together butter, garlic parsley and oregano.
Using a serrated knife, cut a diagonal pattern in the bread about 1" (2.5cm) apart. Slice all the way down to the bottom, without cutting through the base of the loaf. The base of loaf should be intact.
Spread the garlic butter mixture generously between the cuts of the bread, ensuring it reaches all the way to the bottom.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly in-between and over the top of the bread, make sure to get it inside the cuts. Sprinkle with chili flakes (optional).
Loosely cover with foil to ensure the cheese doesn't burn.
Place foiled bread loaf on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes until cheese is melted and golden brown.
Carefully transfer the cheesy bread loaf to a serving platter or cutting board. Allow the loaf to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Garnish with chopped parsley, pull part the slices and en joy the gooey cheese and garlic bread.
Notes
Instead of using shredded cheese, you can use cut cheese from a block to stuff between the cut bread pieces.
