    This Asian Sesame Dressing is the perfect way to add a little extra flavor to your salads, wraps, and rice bowls.     It's so easy to make a sesame or ginger dressing for you next Asian salad or meal. Once you know how easy it is to make, you won't buy the expensive store-bought asian dressings. Plus the Poppy Seeds add extra flavor, thicken the dressing and stick to your salad in a delightful way.

    • Sugar - for sweetness to balance out the vinegars
    • Sesame Seeds - adds texture and crunch to the salad, the hero flavor
    • Poppy Seeds - adds a nutty flavor to balance the sesame seeds, looks great and helps thicken the dressing
    • Fresh Ginger - grated, or can use from a jar

    How to Make Asian Sesame Dressing

    Like all salad dressings, this is so easy to make. Simply whisk the ingredients together and you are ready to go! And it tastes better when made in advance.

    1. Place all ingredients in a jar or bowl.
    2. Whisk to shake until emulsified.
    3. Pour over salad.
    4. Keep refrigerated to use again.

    • Mason Jar - mix all the ingredients in Mason Jar, shake and place leftovers in the fridge
    • Honey - for a sweeter and natural taste, substitute sugar with honey
    • Flavor Boost - add a teaspoon of grated ginger, minced fresh onion or chopped green onion
    • Marinade - place chicken or fish in a Ziploc Bag. Pour in dressing and let marinade in fridge for at least 30 minutes before cooking.
    • Dumpling Sauce - drizzle or dip your potstickers or dumplings with this Sesame dressing
