Russian Appetizers
Russian Appetizers are called Zakusky - which are small bites served before a meal. Loosely translated as Russian Appetizers. An essential part of Russian cuisine, enjoyed at gatherings, parties and holidays, especially New Years.
Zakuska means "to bite after" usually a snack between drinks. Be prepared to enjoy a whole table of Zakuski (закусочный стол), one is never an option.
