It’s so easy to make Garlic Roasted Asparagus, you’ll wonder why you ever made it any other way. As a kid I remember eating boiled asparagus, sloppy and chewy. It was not a pretty sight.
This Oven Roasted Garlic Asparagus Recipe requires minimal effort and tastes delicious. You can omit the garlic if you don’t like it, but garlic adds flavour and is incredibly healthy for you. Before serving, you can sprinkle parmesan cheese, or add an acid like the juice of a lemon or use balsamic vinegar. But I prefer this recipe exactly as is.
The roast time will depend on the thickness of your asparagus spears. Try to use asparagus spears that are the same thickness to ensure they cook evenly. When you cut the woody ends off the asparagus, throw them into your next homemade soup stock.
